Abstract: "Dictionary of Ukrainian Names of Mineral Species" (compilers — Hanna Kulchytska, Dariya Chernysh) was published in the scientific journal "Notes of the Ukrainian Mineralogical Society" (2019, Vol. 16, 446 p.). It includes a list of mineral species approved by the Commission on New Minerals, Nomenclature and Classification of the International Mineralogical Association, IMA. The following information is given: the name of the mineral species in English, Ukrainian and Russian, the crystal-chemical formula, the date of approval and the origin of the name. The timeliness and importance of the publication as the basis of the new modern "Mineralogical Dictionary" and "Mineralogical Encyclopedia of Ukraine" are noted. It is emphasized that its publication was possible due to the titanic work of the compilers — Hanna Kulchytska and Dariya Chernysh.
