Abstract: Partyzanske deposit is one of the most prospective objects for uranium at the Partyzanske ore field located in the central part of the Novoukrainka massif of the Ukrainian Shield. The metasomatites contain a significant amount of uranium-, thorium-, and REE-bearing accessory and ore minerals of different ages which have a great role for interpretation of genetic issues of the deposit. The research was based mostly on No. 62002, 62004 borehole samples from the deposit. Mineralogical and petrographic studies were carried out at the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of the NAS of Ukraine; microprobe analyses were carried out at the Earth Sciences Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences, Banská Bystrica. Features of chemical composition of U-Th minerals are covered in the paper. Metasomatic alteration of accessory minerals and mineralogical features of behavior of radioactive elements in metasomatic sequence of Novoukrainka: granite → "syenite" → albitite have been explored. Spacious and time sequences of mineral formation were defined: ilmenite → titanite-ruthile, zircon → zirtolite, monazite-2 → thorite-thorianite. In early accessory minerals, such as zircon and monazite, UO2 grades (%) are up to 0.2 in zircon, 0.37—1.02 in monazite. Thorite has persistent admixtures of uranium (%): UO2 — 1.60—7.02; in late-stage malacons UO2 is up to 1.87. It was defined that main U-bearing mineral is close by its chemical composition to a coffinite (nenadkevite?) hydrosilicate with high grade of ΣREE = 6.5—8.9%. At the Partyzanske deposit the submicroscopic inclusions of thorianite in monazite was detected among accessory minerals for the first time. Based on accessory mineralization research, the ore uranium mineralization was assumed might have been formed by means of early accessory minerals of granites.
